Terms of use

These terms cover this website. They are not the agreement that covers work we do for you — that one is signed by both sides and it prevails over anything said here.

What this site is

This is Make It Happen's own site. It describes what the studio does, how an engagement runs, and what has been built. It is a catalog and an argument, nothing more. It is not a client portal, it holds no account of yours, and it processes no payment. Nothing on it is advice — legal, tax, financial or technical — to act on without talking to someone who knows your situation. Using the site means these terms apply to you. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading; if we change them, the new version applies from the day it is published here.

Nothing here is an offer or a quote

There are no prices on this site, and that is deliberate. Service descriptions, durations in weeks, deliverables and examples are published so you can decide whether a conversation is worth having. None of them is a commercial offer, a quote, a fixed scope, or a commitment that binds either side. Scope, timeline, price, code ownership and everything else become real in one place only: a written proposal, signed by both sides. Where anything on this site differs from that signed document, the signed document governs. Sending the contact form opens a conversation; it does not create a contract or reserve capacity.

What belongs to us

The text, structure, design, code, illustrations and diagrams on this site are ours or licensed to us, and the name Make It Happen along with the mark that accompanies it are ours as well. You may read the site, print a page, and quote or link to it with attribution and a link back — we would rather be cited than copied. You may not republish it in bulk, present it as your own, use our name or mark to suggest a relationship that does not exist, or extract its content automatically to build a derivative catalog. Work produced for a client is a different matter: who owns it is named in the signed agreement, not here.

Acceptable use

Use the site as a reader. Do not try to break it, do not load it beyond a normal reading pace, do not probe it for weaknesses, and do not try to reach what is not published. Do not send the form false identities, another person's personal data, or messages meant to sell us something. Do not upload or link anything unlawful. Reading published pages automatically is fine at a reasonable pace and with your identity in the user agent; volume that degrades the site for other people is not. We may block an address or refuse a submission without explaining ourselves, and we keep the record of it.

Links to other sites

Where a page links outward — to a standard, to a reference, to a profile of ours elsewhere — we do not control that destination and we do not check it continuously. What it publishes, what it collects from you, and what its terms say are its business and not ours, and our policy stops at our edge. Follow a link and you are on their ground, under their rules. If a link here is broken, wrong, or now points somewhere we would not send you, tell us and we will fix it or take it out.

Accuracy and availability

We keep this site current and we still get things wrong. Descriptions change, a duration shifts, a page goes stale between one edit and the next. The site is published as it is, with no warranty that it is complete, accurate, up to date or fit for a particular purpose, and with no promise that it will be reachable at any given moment: hosting fails, we deploy, things break. If something here is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it. Do not treat a page as the specification of anything; the signed proposal is the only document you can rely on.

Limitation of liability

As far as Colombian law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using this site or relying on something published here: lost profit, lost data, a decision taken on a page that was out of date, or an interruption you could not work around. This limit covers the site, not our work — liability for a contracted engagement is set in that engagement's signed agreement. It also does not cover what cannot be limited by law: fraud, gross negligence, or harm to a person. Nothing in these terms reduces a consumer right that Colombian law gives you.

Governing law, and where to write

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute about this site or about these terms goes to the competent courts of Colombia, and both sides will try a direct conversation first, because it is faster than anything a court can do. If a clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. That address is the channel for questions about these terms, and a message sent there reaches us directly.
